Major Thai maker adjusted PE offers to China

Chinese market players reportedly received price adjustments from a major Thailand producer, whereby HDPE film and yarn rebounded $5/ton to $1420/ton and $1430/ton respectively, while LDPE film offers reduced $10/ton to $1230/ton, all on a CFR China, LC at sight basis.

Players attributed the price adjustments toward the market deals situation. A trader commented, “Our supplier informed to have achieve satisfactory deals for HDPE, hence try to lift their offers from initial prices, meanwhile claimed to have sold out their HDPE film for the week as we tried to request for some quantities, but only managed to get offers for HDPE yarn today.”
