A major local producer in Indonesia continues lifting spot PP and PE offers on the first trading day of the week on the back of healthy demand from the flexible packaging sector.

Buying interest for PE in Indonesia has been strong for three weeks in a row thanks to the late come back of Ramadan demand. However, players started to speculate on the near-term outlook, citing that converters are battling high production costs while end product sales might slow down toward the end of May.
