Emergency shutdown at PetroChina Daqing's LDPE plant
According to market sources, PetroChina Daqing Refinery and Chemical Company have encountered emergency shutdown at its LDPE plant today due to technical glitches.
Based in Daqing, China, the LDPE (new) unit has a production capacity of 200,000 ton/year. The plant is expected to remain off-stream for around 3-5 days.
