Major turnaround at Japan's Mitsubishi naphtha cracker in May
Market sources reported that Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation is planning to shut its naphtha cracker by early May 2018 for a planned maintenance.
Based in Kashima, Japan, the cracker is able to produce 540,000 tons/year of ethylene and 260,000 tons/year of propylene. It is expected to remain off-stream for about 2 months.
