China's Shaanxi Yanchang to conduct trial run for new PP plant

According to market sources, Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Yanan Energy Chemical Company is planning to conduct trial run for its new MTO-based PP plant in June.

Based in Shaanxi, China, the new PP plant has a production capacity of 250,000 tons/year. A source closed to the company informed that they will temporarily outsource methanol for the trial run and once progress goes smoothly, they will use their own methanol supply. The company currently having 1.8 million tons/year of methanol plant.
