Thai maker open PE offers to China at stable to firmer levels

After achieving healthy sales results in the previous week for LLDPE film, a major Thailand producer decided to lift offers for this grade by $10/ton. On the other hand, offers for other PE grades remain unchanged from a week before.

The latest prices list is shown in the following table:

Deals for LLDPE film immediately emerge after the new offer announcement with $5/ton discount. “We requested for 250 tons and managed to get 85% of the need quantity. It is very likely that overseas supplier might continue to lift prices in the coming days as demand is coming back,” a buyer commented.
