Japan's Shin-Etsu to shut PVC plant for turnaround
According to market sources, Shin-Etsu Chemical Co Ltd is planning to shut its PVC plant for a planned maintenance in April 2018.
Based in Kashima, Japan, the plant has a production capacity of 550,000 tons/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for around 6 weeks.
