Thai maker cuts PP prices to Indonesia, keeps HDPE unchanged

A major Thailand producer announced new PP and PE offers to Indonesia at mostly stable to softer levels compared to late February amid sluggish demand condition across the region.

The latest prices list has not attracted desirable attention from buyers as the market is generally hoping to see larger cuts. “Local ground is rather soft, especially for homo-PP. We believed that more discounts must be given in order to draw converters back to the market,” a source said.
