Emergency shutdown at Indonesia's Styrindo SM plant

According to market sources, Styrindo Mono Indonesia (SMI) has unexpectedly shut its styrene monomer (SM) plant since end of February 2018.
Based in Merak, Indoensia, the plant has a production capacity of 100,000 tons/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for about 2 weeks.
