Azerbaijan's SOCAR to startup new PP plant in June

According to market sources, SOCAR Polymer, the first public-private partnership in Azerbaijan is planning to startup its new PP plant by second half of 2018.

Based in Sumgayit, Azerbaijan, the PP plant has a production capacity of 180,000 tons/year. It is expecting to operate at around 40% of production rate upon startup in June. A source closed to the company informed that the plant is expected to operate at full capacity by next year.
