Explosion at Taiwan's CPC Corp refinery, no casualties found

Market sources reported that there were an explosion on CPC Corp’s refinery this morning, whereby according to the sources, the explosion happened on the tube of the hydrodesulfurization plant’s second heating station.

The refinery plant was located in Taoyuan, Taiwan, and so far there were no announcement regarding further details on the shutdown for the plant, as that plant has a refinery capacity of 12 million tons/year and ethylene production capacity of 1.61 million tons/year.
