Thailand's SCG mulls over maintenance shutdown at HDPE line

It is reported that Thailand’s SCG Chemicals might take its number 4 HDPE line off-stream for a brief maintenance of ten (10) days in February 2018, however, no exact date was revealed at the time this report is publish.

The company’s number 4 HDPE line has capacity of 400,000 tons/year producing mainly HDPE film and blow moulding grade. It is also heard that SCG is planning maintenance shutdown at its PP units during the same period, yet there is no confirmation at the moment. Stay tuned for further updates regarding the issue.
