UPDATE: Thailand's PTT to shut two HDPE lines for maintenance

As an update on previous alert that PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) is planning maintenance shutdown at its HDPE unit in early February 2018, industry sources are reporting that the petrochemical giant might take two of its HDPE units off-stream instead of one.

The two lines with combined capacity of 550,000 tons/year are expected to remain shut for about 15 days, resulted to an estimated production loss of 22,603 tons of HDPE.
