Taiwanese major implemented large hike on February PVC offers to India

It is reported that a major Taiwanese producer has announced February shipment offers to India with $50/ton increased from last month, reaching $960/ton CIF India, LC AS term. In spite of the initial astonishment, Indian buyers have portrayed a very positive respond towards the latest offers.

A trader said, “The allocation is very limited and buyers are accepting the hike. Demand is coming back and might continue to improve in the coming month.”

Meanwhile, Southeast Asian and Chinese buyers are still waiting for the new price list, yet market is expecting similar hike to be implemented.
