Major producer stepped back on local LDPE offers in Malaysia

Malaysian buyers reported to have received fresh PP and PE offers for January 2018 delivery from a major domestic maker with MYR100/ton ($25/ton) reduction for LDPE, with MYR50/ton ($12/ton) increased for HDPE film and stable offers for other grades as compared to last month. Players attributed the price hike for HDPE film to limited supply availability.
