Thailand's TPC resumed PVC production after brief production hiccup

Thai Plastics and Chemicals Public Company Limited (TPC) reportedly took one of its PVC line off-stream earlier this week due to an unexpected technical issue. The line, producing suspension PVC K66, grade SP/SG 660 restarted after couple of days, and currently operating at 70-80% capacity.
TPC is a subsidiary of SCG Chemical, operating the PVC business with annual capacity of 530,000 tons/year.
The brief shutdown is not expected to generate major impact on the general supply condition, however specific grade might face tightness, especially at the current improving regional demand condition.
