Major maker lifted local PVC offers in India, buying interest seems lax

It is reported that a major domestic producer in India has lifted PVC offers to local buyers by IDN1500/ton ($23/ton) with effective of 8 December 2017. Demand here remains mediocre in spite of strong indication of a firming trend in both local and import ground.

“We have yet to see a rush to make replenishment among regular customers. It is very likely that market might firm up in the coming week given the general tightening supply condition,” a trader said.
