Major Qatari maker stepped back on LDPE offers to China

Chinese players reportedly received fresh offers from a major Qatari producer with $20/ton reduction for LDPE film and heavy duty to reach $1210/ton and $1220-1230/ton respectively, all on a CFR China, LC 60 days basis.

A trader commented, “Our supplier claimed to have no supply for LLDPE film this week hence no offers. However, we are seeing sufficient supply availability of LDPE cargoes in the market is pressuring our supplier to step back on their LDPE offers this week, yet still facing difficulties to attract buying interests among buyers.”
