China Morning Express: 28 November 2017

January delivery contract on Dalian Commodity Exchange extended the weakening trend for the morning session, with PP futures reduced CNY268/ton ($41/ton) to CNY8886/ton ($1149/ton without VAT). LLDPE futures decreased CNY210/ton ($32/ton) to CNY9505/ton ($1229/ton without VAT).

Domestic spot PP in Eastern China stands in the range CNY9000-9150/ton ($‎1164-1183/ton without VAT), a softer trend of CNY50-100/ton ($8-15/ton) compared to yesterday.

Spot LLDPE film traded in Northern China loses CNY100/ton ($15/ton) compared to yesterday, at CNY9600-9800/ton ($‎1241-1267/ton without VAT). All based on EXW China, including VAT, cash term.

There are some buying activities among manufacturers in the morning at the market low end prices after sellers willing to step back on their offer levels, meanwhile some traders claimed to have slower sales as their customers preferred to stay at the sideline monitoring for further movements in the afternoon.
