Domestic maker rollover PP, PE offers in Indonesia

A major domestic producer in Indonesia has announced weekly PP and PE offers at unchanged levels from last week despite healthy demand, especially for HDPE film cargoes reported.

“We were expecting some increment on the price list for HDPE film given the current tightness. At the moment, we are not having sufficient quantity to fulfil orders from regular customers. Meanwhile, other grades are not very strong,” a trader commented.

Other sources are expecting to see another upward adjustment within this week citing additional strong support from the upstream and energy complex.
