Emergency shutdown at China's Pucheng coal-based PP, PE plants
According to market sources, Pucheng Clean Energy Chemical Co Ltd has unexpectedly shut its coal-based PP and PE units since yesterday (23 November 2017) due to technical glitches.
Based in Shanxi, China, the company has a MTO-based PP and PE units with a production capacity of 400,000 ton/year and 300,000 ton/year respectively. The plants are expected to resume by next week.
