China Morning Express: 24 November 2017

PP futures for January delivery showed weaker trend during the morning session with decrease of CNY27/ton ($4/ton) from the previous session, reaching CNY9192/ton ($1192/ton without VAT).

Same contract for LLDPE concluded the session at CNY9750/ton ($1265/ton without VAT), a reduction of CNY55/ton ($8/ton).

PP spot market in East China at CNY9050-9250/ton ($‎1174-1200/ton without VAT), a rollover as compared to yesterday.

LLDPE film spot market in North China at CNY9700-9800/ton ($‎1258-1271/ton without VAT), a stable to slight CNY50/ton ($8/ton) reduced compared to yesterday.

Overall market sentiment and buying appetite in China market were slower today with most of the buyers staying at the sideline, meanwhile some place final orders of the week based on hand to mouth basis, since most of the buyers had replenished their cargoes past few days.
