China Morning Express: 15 November 2017

PP futures for January delivery extended significant decrease for the morning session with reduction of CNY202/ton ($30/ton) from the previous session, reaching CNY8908/ton ($1148/ton without VAT).

Same contract for LLDPE concluded the session at CNY9665/ton ($1246/ton without VAT), a drop of CNY155/ton ($23/ton).

PP spot market in East China at CNY8800-9000/ton ($‎1134-1160/ton without VAT), a CNY100-150/ton ($15-23/ton) decreased as compared to yesterday.

LLDPE film spot market in North China at CNY9600-9700/ton ($‎1238-1250/ton without VAT), a CNY50/ton ($8/ton) decreased compared to yesterday.

Futures market traded at significant weak trend since opening session, which affected the overall buying appetite in domestic market. Players are mostly on the wait and see stance, but sellers claimed to have limited low cost cargoes on hand hence not willing to provide large discount on the offer levels.
