Taiwanese major sold out PVC allocations to India

It is reported that a major Taiwanese producer has sold out their PVC allocations to India, as much as 25,000 tons, only a day after announcing December offers with $50/ton cut from last month.

A trader informed, “The latest cut surprised the market and buyers quickly confirmed the orders as prices hit the lowest levels in 15 months. All available quantities are sold out within couple of hours. Other suppliers might follow the suit soon and we think this could be the cyclical bottom prices.”
