Technical issues forced Qapco's HDPE plant to run at lower rate
According to market sources, Qatar Petrochemical Company (Qapco) has recently reduced the production rate of its HDPE unit due to technical issues.
Based in Doha, Qatar, the HDPE plant has a production capacity of 500,000 tons/year. A source closed to the company informed that supply for their HDPE will remain tight in the near term, meanwhile LLDPE line is still operating normally.
