Major Qatari maker lifted PE offers to China

A major producer from Qatar has announced fresh offers for PE to China this week with $15/ton increased for LDPE film to reach $1240/ton and $20-30/ton hike for LLDPE C4 film to reach $1180/ton, all on a CFR China, LC 60 days basis.

A trader commented, “We feel surprised with the price rebound from our supplier as overall market sentiment this week were slower, however, our supplier claimed to have limited supply hence holding firm stance on the offer levels. We are expecting for weaker sales this week.”
