China Morning Express: 13 November 2017

PP futures for January delivery ended the morning session with hike of CNY24/ton ($4/ton) from the previous session, reaching CNY9156/ton ($1177/ton without VAT).

Same contract for LLDPE concluded the session at CNY9810/ton ($1261/ton without VAT), decreased CNY40/ton ($6/ton).

PP spot market in East China at CNY8900-9200/ton ($‎1144-1182/ton without VAT), dropped CNY50-100/ton ($8-15/ton) as compared to last Friday.

LLDPE film spot market in North China at CNY9700-9900/ton ($‎1247-1272/ton without VAT), remained largely stable as compared to last Friday.

Futures market opened with a weak trend in the morning, with some gradual increase trend toward the end of morning session. Offers for spot cargoes in domestic market are weaker with more discounts available, however, most of the buyers are on a wait and see stance.
