Major Thai maker stepped back on LDPE offers to China

A major producer from Thailand has stepped back on its LDPE film offers with $25/ton price cut from initial offers on beginning of the week to reach $1250/ton, CFR China, LC at sight term.

A trader commented, “Our supplier faced difficulties to conclude deals even though initial offer for the week was a rollover compared to last week, as customers are resisting toward the high price level, meanwhile LDPE demand is comparatively weaker among the PE grades, hence we are not confidence about buying activities even after discount for today.”
