PetroRabigh restarted PP line from maintenance, LLDPE line faces delay

As reported earlier, Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co (PetroRabigh) shut one line each at its PP and PE plants early October 2017 for a routine maintenance work. At the moment, market sources reported that the producer has successfully restarted the 350,000 tons/year homo-PP line and might be able to achieve regular production rate soon.

However, the LLDPE unit is now facing a delay to run back by three weeks from initial schedule, drag the offline duration until end of November. The unit has an annual capacity of 600,000 tons/year.
