Qatar's PE offers retreat further in China

Chinese players reportedly received revised offers for PE from a major Qatari producer with $25/ton reduction for LDPE film to reach $1225/ton and $30/ton reduction for LLDPE film to reach $1150-1160/ton, all on a CFR China, LC 30 days basis.

A trader added, “Weaker market sentiment is pressuring our supplier to implement further decrease on their offers compared to beginning of the week, however, we are seeing minimal interests from buyers toward far shipment cargoes recently, even after price cut.”
