Japan's Keiyo to shut naphtha cracker for turnaround in 2018

Market sources reported that Keiyo Ethylene Co Ltd is planning to shut its naphtha-fed steam cracker by mid of May 2018 for a planned maintenance.
Based in Chiba, Japan, the cracker has a ethylene production capacity of 700,000 tons/year and propylene capacity of 400,000 tons/year. It is expected to remain off-stream until early July 2018.
