Thailand's LLDPE offers retreated in China

Chinese players reportedly received fresh PE offers from a major Thailand producer today with stable offers for LDPE film and heavy duty at $1280/ton and $1300/ton, a $10/ton reduction for LLDPE to reach $1260/ton. Meanwhile, the producer also offered HDPE film and yarn at $1300/ton, and metallocene PE at $1310/ton, all on a CFR China, LC AS term.

A trader added, “We are facing difficulties to conclude deals these two days with comparatively weaker sentiment as compared to last week. However, our supplier still insisted firm stance on HDPE offers due to limited supply. We are expecting for increasing sales pressure with upcoming supply availability especially for deep sea cargoes.”
