Major Qatar producer stepped back on LDPE offers to China

A major Qatari maker has announced fresh offers for PE to China with a rollover for LLDPE film to reach $1180-1190/t level while a $10/ton reduction for LDPE film to reach $1250/ton, all on a CFR China, LC 30 days term.

A trader informed, “Our supplier is still claiming to have limited cargoes but recent weaker market sentiment seems causing some pressure on the offer levels. We are expecting for some price corrections in these 1-2 weeks time.”
