Thai maker keeps PE offers stable to soft to Vietnam

It is reported that ma major Thailand producer has announced fresh weekly PE offers to Vietnam at stable to softer levels compared to last week. The new price list indicated a $10/ton drop in LDPE film prices to $1280/ton CIF Vietnam, LC AS term while LLDPE film and HDPE yarn remain unchanged at $1200/ton and $1210/ton respectively with the same term.

A distributor said, “Our principal supplier is not interested in offering to Vietnam due to weak buying sentiment and low prices. HDPE film cargoes are still unavailable this week while other materials are not ample too. We are collecting buyers feedback before making the final price decision.”
