Domestic producer keep local PP, PE offers steady for second week in Indonesia

A major domestic producer in Indonesia has announced fresh weekly PP and PE offers to local buyers at little changes from last week. Except PP thermoforming and PP block copolymer drop $13/ton and $20/ton respectively, other grades remain relatively steady.

Indonesian players are not responding very positively to the price list claiming that most traders have already down adjusted prices in the face of persistent sluggish demand condition. “And if import market continue to weaken, we believed that local producer would follow too,” a buyer commented.
