Thailand maker hold firm stance on PE offers to China

Chinese players reportedly receive new PE offers from a major Thailand maker today with $10/ton increased for LDPE film to reach $1280/ton and LLDPE C4 film at $1270/ton, both on a CFR China, LC AS term.

A trader informed, “There are no offers for HDPE cargoes this week, perhaps our supplier has oversold some allocation previously. However, we believed that these price level will face resistance from customers as this week overall price trend has softened slightly, with more resistance on the high end offer level.”
