More Saudi Arabia producer announce November PP, PE offers to Southeast Asia

Another Saudi Arabia producer has announed November shipment offers for both PP and PE to Southeast Asia today at mixed trend. The general limited supply condition for HDPE film encourage the maker to maintain prices on the stable to firmer trend while other grades witness a slight drop of $10-20/ton from last month.

Latest price list stand at $1210/ton for LLDPE film, $1230-1240/ton for HDPE film, $1180/ton for homo-PP and $1220/ton for PP block copolymers, all based on CIF Southeast Asia, LC AS term.

A source close to the producer informed, “We are not having quantity for homo-PP due to the on-going shutdown. At the meantime, demand for LLDPE film is a little weaker than expected and we might need to offer additional discount on deals. At the moment, we are monitoring respond from the market.”
