South Korea's SK Advance to shut PDH unit in November

It is reported that SK Advance is planning to take its propane dehydrogenation (PDH) plant at Ulsan, South Korea off-stream for annual maintenance this mid-November. The unit is scheduled to remain offline for about one month.

SK Advance is one of the key producer in South Korea and the Ulsan based PDH unit has nameplate capacity of 600,000 tons/year. The shutdown is expected to tighten propylene supply from the country.
