China's Pucheng shut coal-based PP and PE plants for maintenance

According to market sources, Pucheng Clean Energy Chemical Co Ltd has shut its coal-based PP and PE units since yesterday (15 October 2017) for a scheduled turnaround.

Based in Shanxi, China, the company has a MTO-based PP and PE units with a production capacity of 400,000 ton/year and 300,000 ton/year respectively. The plants will be remain off-stream for about 25 days, whereby the maintenance schedule has been delayed since mid of last month.
