Malaysia's Petrochemicals shuts HIPS plant for maintenance
According to market sources, Petrochemicals (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Japan’s Idemitsu Kosan Co has shut its HIPS plant for a scheduled turnaround since beginning of October 2017.
Based in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia, the plant has a production capacity of 120,000 tons/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for about 6 weeks.
