Domestic PP, PE offers for October announced with hike in Malaysia

Malaysian buyers reported to have received fresh PP and PE offers for October delivery from a major domestic producer with increases from last month. The pace of the price increment however, slow down considerably, arousing an expectation that market might be reaching the peak.

“Local demand is still stable while supply from major domestic producers remain relative low. Therefore, we are not expecting any major shift in market direction in the coming month. These offers are only valid throughout 3 October, which means buyers would have to be quick in confirming the order,” a trader said.
