Taiwan's Formosa to restart cracker from maintenance

According to market sources, Formosa Plastics Corporation (FPC) is planning to restart its No. 3 naphtha-fed steam cracker by end of the month after scheduled turnaround.
Based in Mailiao, Taiwan, the cracker is able to produce 1.2 million tons/year of ethylene, 600,000 tons/year of propylene and 176,000 tons/year of butadiene. As reported earlier by CommoPlast, the cracker has bee shut since mid of August for a 40 days maintenance.
