UPDATE: Fire at Malaysia's LCT cast zero effect on existing production

As reported earlier, a fire broke out at part of Lotte Chemical Titan plant in Johor Malaysia late 20 September 2017. There were no casualties during the event and the impact on the production is minimal.
Market sources informed that the fired occurred at a new mini cracker that the company target to bring online this October. The cracker is designed to produce 92,000 tons/year of ethylene and 170,000 tons/year of propylene.
All other downstream PP and PE units are still operating, though at lower rate due to lack of feedstock supply.
