South Korea's KPIC reduced rates at naphtha cracker

According to market sources, Korea Petrochemical Industry Co (KPIC) has cut the production rate of its naphtha cracker to around 65% since mid of last week due to technical issues.
Based on Onsan, South Korea, the cracker is able to produce 800,000 tons/year of ethylene and 500,000 tons/year of propylene. The cracker was operating at nearly full production capacity by beginning of last week following an unplanned outages earlier.
