China's Ningxia to resume coal-based polyolefin productions

According to market sources, Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry Group (Shenhua Ningmei) is planning to restart its new coal-based PP and PE plants (Phase II) on 8 September 2017 after a scheduled turnaround.

Based in Ningxia, China, the Phase II plants comprises of 2 PP units with total production capacity of 600,000 tons/year and a 450,000 tons/year PE unit. As reported earlier by CommoPlast, the plants have started commercial production since beginning of July and entered a planned maintenance since 1 August 2017.
