Thai maker lifted PP and HDPE prices to Indonesia

It is reported that a major Thailand producer has announced fresh PP and HDPE offers to Indonesia with $20-30/ton compared to late August amid rising global market. Limited supply remains the primary support for the price decision, as the maker’s production lines have been unstable for several weeks now.

Though no deals have been reported at the latest offers with Indonesian buyers continue to wary about the sustainability of the current trend, the suppliers is less likely to concede to large discount. This especially amid healthy buying interest in nearby China market.
