China's PP and PE Import Statistics for July 2017

In the latest import records the Chinese Custom Department released for July 2017, import quantity for major grades including HDPE and homo-PP witnessed a drop of 5.6% and 10.7% respectively from last month. In contrast, import PP copolymers impressively jumped 20.7% higher from last month.

China registers higher import PP and PE quantity for the first seven months of the year compared to the same period of 2016, and when combined with production and export figures, demand for these two grades continue to stand at above 10% per annum.
