Thai major lifted HDPE offers to China

A major producer from Thailand has announced fresh weekly PE offers to China today for shipment on end of September to beginning of October, with an increased of $25/ton for HDPE film and yarn to reach $1195/ton and $1200/ton respectively, both on a CFR China, LC at sight term, meanwhile no offers for other grades at the moment.

A trader commented, “We managed to conclude some Thailand HDPE film as high as $1200/ton, LC at sight since yesterday hence we believed that our supplier will be managed to conclude deals with these offer level, however, with continuous firming trend which supported by limited supply situation, we are monitoring cautiously as we are uncertain about the ceiling level of the prices.”
