Domestic Indonesian producer introduces third price adjustment this week

It is reported that a major producer in Indonesia has opened the third price list this week with increment on PE, claiming higher production costs after ethylene surged to multi months high.

The producer price list is shown in the following table:

Buying interest apparently becomes softer as converters are facing difficulties in lifting end product prices, leading to squeeze profit margins. A market source said, “Suppliers are not having sales pressure and we believed that selling ethylene at the moment would be better for integrated producers. We are waiting on the side line for now.”
