Emergency shutdown at Malaysia's Petlin LDPE plant
According to market sources, PETLIN (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of PETRONAS has unexpectedly shut its LDPE plant since 13 August 2017 due to technical glitches.
Located at Kerteh, Malaysia, the LDPE unit has a production capacity of 255,000 ton/year. The unit is expected to remain offline for about 9-10 days.
